The basis of any successful intervention on soft skills development in general, is sound self-knowledge, which is gained through individual assessment and review. At the commencement of all our interventions delegates will go through at least an assessment of their level of Emotional Intelligence and their Preferred Operating Style. We will determine their preferred behaviour, their learning styles and their level of emotional intelligence. Based on this knowledge, the learners are guided towards an effective, sustainable and appropriate style, which best suit their own natural way of behaving.
In addition to the initial assessment, structured assessment and review takes place on no less than four occasions during the programs and on an on-going basis. The facilitator(s) will assess the learners competence and development on an unstructured basis. The latter is possible due to the fact that most programs are presented on an experiential education basis. Peer assessment and -review is also an integral part of most programs.
All our programs have follow-up counselling, mentoring support and peer support structures built into the pricing structure. During this important phase, facilitators will conduct ongoing assessment and review. Where appropriate, job specific assessment and Recognition of Prior Learning Assessment is built into the pre-program phase. |
